**What You Will Be Doing**
Community Rehabilitation Program has a current vacancy for a fixed term Grade 3 Allied Health Assistant. As an AHA, you will work within our interdisciplinary CRP team to support clients achieve their rehabilitation goals. This role involves centre based and home based service delivery, with a strong emphasis on client focused goal setting and a team approach.
This position will predominately be AHA to the occupational therapy team in the community rehabilitation team at Peninsula health, with scope to work with other allied health professionals within the multidisciplinary team.
We anticipate you will have:
- Certificate 4 in Allied Health Assistant, and current Victorian driver’s license
- Capacity to work independently and autonomously in the community
- Sound understanding of scope of practice in the rehabilitation and community setting
- High standard of verbal and written communication skills
- Computer literate and ability to use electronic patient records
- Experience working in a community setting (desirable)
