Seeking Parcel Sorters for Afternoon Shift, Based

Our client is an industry leader in mailing solutions, and they are seeking several Parcel Sorters to join their busy processing facility in Bayswater, across their Afternoon Shift.
We are seeking people who will be available to work 3 to 5 shifts per week, Monday to Friday, shift commence from 2:30pm. Shifts range from 6hrs to 7.21hrs depending on the daily production and requirements of our client. This is a physical role, entailing various manual handling and stock sorting tasks. Parcels can be from up to 18kgs per parcel & repetitive sorting on/off conveyer belts and into ULDs. Full training is provided across the site with a unique buddy system to help ensure a great onboarding experience for all new employees.
Afternoon Shift penalties apply, as well as a pay increase after you have completed your first 60 shifts
**To be successful for this position, you must**:
- Have availability to work afternoon shifts
- Have working rights in Australia
- Previous mail sorting or machine operation experience is desirable
- Have the ability to lift up to 18kg of mail on a repetitive basis
- Ability to stand on your feet for an entire shift
- Have a strong attention to detail
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment within peak periods
- Able to complete a pre-employment Medical, Police Check and Drug & Alcohol Assessment
- Demonstrate appropriate WHS standards within the workplace
