Elevator pitch
The People & Culture Consultant works with the Chief People Officer and the People & Culture Directors to design and embed initiatives that support creativity and enable our people to do their best work.
About the role
The People & Culture Consultant assists with the delivery of customer focused people services across the employee life cycle from onboarding, legislation, change management, learning and development, DE&I, workforce planning, and performance and talent management.
- Manage generalist HR activities and provide timely support to the business in partnership with the applicable People & Culture Director
- Manage 1st level HR enquiries
- Proactively recognise HR issues, problems and or opportunities within the business and coach frontline leaders on a broad range of people matters, including performance feedback, disciplinary processes and development
- Provide advice aligned to legislation and company policies/procedures to a broad and dispersed group of internal stakeholders
- Assist with the planning, preparation and roll-out of various initiatives designed to support achievement of the business strategy and objectives including employee engagement, people performance and recognition programs and talent management processes
- Manage projects or participate in working groups for people related programs
- Manage the exit process including ensuring exit interviews are undertaken and provide analysis and recommendations based on trends
- Coordinate the engagement survey process and assist with reporting and action plans
- Manage the CultureAmp system including configuring and troubleshooting the system, creating & updating employee profiles, facilitating training, tracking completion activity and responding to enquiries from managers and employees
- Manage the annual learning and development calendar including coordination of training
- Assist with the management of employee conflicts and grievances in accordance with policies and procedures
- Manage the employee assistance program and assist in developing our wellbeing program
- Assist in the facilitation of learning activites
- Review and update policies and frameworks in line with legislation
- Compile and manage the submission and reporting for WGEA on behalf of the Group
- Monitor and update HR data including the development of HR metrics and dashboards
- Monitor success and utilisation of People and Culture initiatives and programs
- Be the lead on our grad and internship programs across the Group.
- Support the DE&I agenda and programs
- Assist with org design activities by providing advice and preparing documentation
- Own relationships with our external suppliers to ensure deliverables are met, services are fit for purpose and we get value for our investment

Knowledge/Experience
- Qualifications in Human Resources or a related discipline
- 5+ years generalist HR experience
