**The Position**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Manage the day-to-day maintenance of facilities across the Sydney metropolitan area, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, building codes and standards.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules for all facilities, including preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
- Supervise and manage contractors to support the ongoing operations of these facilities.
- Foster a culture of teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement among all who work and support our business.
- Prepare maintenance/repair requirements and manage the quotation process, ensuring efficient use of resources and cost-effective maintenance practices.
- Identify and implement cost-saving measures without compromising safety, quality and cost.
- Oversee relationships with external vendors and contractors, including negotiating quotes and ensuring service levels are met.
- Plan and execute facility improvement projects, including renovations, upgrades, and repairs.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on time and within cost expectations.
- Ensure that all work undertaken complies with all building codes and health & safety regulations.
- Able to conduct adhoc inspections and checks of facilities and equipment to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs.
- Prepare monthly report on facility maintenance issues, action and costings for the Head of Logistics.

**About you**
- Relevant building certifications and experience in Facilities Management and or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of hands on experience in building and or facilities management or maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance practices, and safety regulations.
- Proven communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage a diverse number of contractors and collaborate with various stakeholders.
- Excellent organisational and project management skills.
- Proficient computer skills and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to travel between three sites as needed.
- Company ute and tools provided whilst onsite.
