Middlemount Mine is an open cut mine located approximately 90km North-East of Emerald and only about 7km out of town

Your new role
- Work in consultation with the Maintenance Planner and Project Manager to ensure the Maintenance Schedule supports company requirements and objectives
- Coordinate the safe and cost effective maintenance of all pumps and LV equipment
- Ensure maintenance and repairs are executed within safety, time and cost parameters and in accordance with company requirements and direction from Management
- Ensure Purchase Orders are raised for outstanding defects
- Ensure all parts are used or are returned for credit in a timely manner
- Ensure that machine information and maintenance tasks are timely and accurately recorded
- Lead and mentor Maintenance crews to ensure output is in line with company priorities and objectives

What you'll need to succeed
- Trade certificate in Light Vehicle Mechanics or equivalent as well as previous experience and demonstrated success within a similar role
- Current Mining Supervisor - G1, G8, G9 (formerly S1, S2, S3)
- Current Carry out the Risk Management Process - G2
- Current Queensland driver licence
- Experience with heavy earth moving equipment.
