**Weekly hours**: Average 38 hours

**We are seeking an experienced Early Childhood Teacher (Bachelor degree)** to be responsible for our Early Learning Programme and assist with managing the day to day operations of the service.

Your key duties include the overall planning, programming, educating the Preschoolers and resourcing the centre. As well as actively participating in discussions with families.

**General responsibilities**:

- Developing programs to grow the physical, emotional, social and intellectual development of the children
- Mentoring educators in programming, developing curriculum and practise.
- Evaluating programmes
- Assisting in PD development

**Skills and Experience**

Minimum 1 year experience as an EL + 2-3 years of experience in the industry.

**Qualifications**

Bachelor of Early Childhood Education or working towards Bachelor of Early Childhood Education

**About the Role**

To provide innovative leadership in managing a high quality Children's Education and Care service.

You will ensure strong management of QA1 and the Educational Leader's role through regular evaluation of programmes, curriculum and the work of other educators. Also, in empowering your educators to maintain a high standards while constantly mentoring other educators.

This is a full time permanent position for an ECT

**About You**
- Demonstrated ability to build constructive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to establish a culture of reflective practice and continuous improvement across teams
- Understanding of Child Protection legislation and holds an approved and current Child Protection Training qualification
- Approved First Aid Qualification, Anaphylaxis Training and Asthma Management Training
- University qualifications in Early Childhood Education
- Excellent pedagogical practice informed by the EYLF
- Working with Children's Check clearance number
- Excellent understanding of the National Quality Framework, including the National Quality Standards, and the national assessment and rating system
- Knowledge of relevant legislative documents, applicable to the Early Childhood sector
- Experience in delivering inclusive and integrated services for families, particularly vulnerable and disadvantaged families
- Demonstrated experience in leading and managing a team with effective skills in conflict resolution and implementing performance review processes
