Office and Facilites Manager

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Facilities Operations & Maintenance- Manage both hard and soft services such as maintenance, cleaning, catering, landscaping, and waste disposal across seven locations.- Lead space planning, office moves, and workstation configurations to meet evolving business needs.- Ensure the office environment meets health, safety, and environmental standards in line with Australian regulations.- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance audits.
People & Team Management- Oversee external vendors and contractors, ensuring service quality and compliance.- Support employee wellbeing through proactive office management, ergonomics, and workplace safety.- Act as the primary point of contact for staff queries or issues related to the office and remote working environments.
Employee Experience & Workplace Culture- Create a welcoming, functional, and productive environment for a diverse workforce.- Partner with HR and department leads to support in-office and remote events, wellness programs, and hybrid working arrangements.
Compliance & Risk Management- Maintain full compliance with occupational health and safety standards, fire codes, and building regulations.- Develop and manage emergency response procedures and ensure staff are trained.
Budgeting & Reporting- Develop and oversee the facilities budget, track expenses, and identify cost-efficiency opportunities.- Prepare reports on facilities performance, incidents, and improvement initiatives.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 2-4 years’ experience as an Office Manager or in a similar role- 2+ years’ experience managing multiple projects with competing deadlines- Strong organisational skills — able to balance day-to-day responsibilities while driving complex projects- Previous experience leading a small team to successfully deliver business outcomes- Solid communication skills with the ability to build trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including landlords, property managers, and third-party vendors- Previous experience in a similar facilities role is advantageous but not critical — more important is your passion, motivation, and ability to be an integral part of our success
