**Systems Installation & Support Technician - Monitoring**

The manages all technical aspects of the sales process for our company’s Animal Health Intelligence and Allflex monitoring and information-based systems, and post sales customer servicing for technical needs.

Undertake the on-farm installation of our company’s Animal Health Intelligence and Allflex monitoring and information systems, working with the divisions Technical Team and liaising with any third-party contractors involved in installation.

You will be required to provide primary support for farms where our company’s Animal Health Intelligence and Allflex monitoring technology has been installed and ensure a high level of customer experience from installation, to a point where the customer has developed routine use of our monitoring equipment, and continued support to drive ongoing engagement with the systems and product offerings.

This position will deliver operational training programs for end users and provide technical training for external partners/distributors. This role is an end user/customer facing role, working directly with farmers, designated sub-contractors, and internal team members.

**What You Will Do**

**Responsibilities include, however not limited to**:

- Be the primary technical contact point for end user farmers and their staff
- Deliver technical guidance and instruction to parties involved pre, during and post the sales process, in collaboration with the Systems Installation & Support Manager
- Liaise and plan closely with the sales team to ensure a smooth process from order placement, led by the sales team, to product installation and set up on farm
- Oversee the entire installation process, from order dispatch (post sales process) to undertaking the installation, to the equipment being in working order on farm. Site manage the installation process for new installations and upgrades, including oversight of third-party contractors that may be involved in the installation process
- Perform installations to a safe and acceptable level, where the quality of installation meets quality parameters as identified by the Monitoring Technical Team and the Systems Installation & Support Manager
- Act as a point of contact and liaison for the Animal Health Intelligence monitoring Technical Team, in managing on farm technical issues.
- Train & provide primary (1st tier) technical support to the end user and their staff, and at times, 2nd tier support, in liaison with the Systems Installation & Support Manager, and the Monitoring Technical Team on systems and processes to ensure resolution of technical issues
- Delivery and support of technical training programs for designated one-time or on-going sub-contractors or distributors.
- Support the sales team in the sales process where technical advice, training or general support is required, including customer visitation.
- Participate in engagement with other companies to implement integration with drafting or software systems in collaboration with the Systems Installation & Support Manager and Monitoring Technical Team.

**What You Must Have**
- Significant technical experience in one or more of the following: animal monitoring systems, automation, milking equipment, herd management systems
- Experience supporting the software and hardware of animal monitoring solutions in the field
- Good understanding of agricultural industries, dairy and beef production along with the sales process of those areas
- Ability to develop, document and deliver technical and training resources to onsite to Farmers
- Experience with embedded firmware update/testing and management desirable
- Windows Networking experience - installation/setup/trouble shooting internet, VPN and WIFI
- Experience with in-field diagnosis and troubleshooting of networked proprietary systems
- Experience managing third-party contractors or field teams
- Excellent planning and organisational skills, with a solution focused mind-set
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present to groups, and fluent in English
- Ability to work methodically, independently and remotely
- Drive to succeed with a passion for customers and delivering a high level of customer satisfaction
- Valid open C Class driver’s license or equivalent
