Lecturer, Photography

Overview:
- Part-time 0.4 FTE, fixed term position for 12 months- Salary Academic Level B + 17% Superannuation- Based at the Melbourne CBD campus, but may be required to work and/or be based at other campuses of the University
- About You

To be successful in this position, you will have:

- Demonstrated ability to prepare and deliver programs at undergraduate and post-graduate levels, including online delivery, and the ability to produce high quality curriculum or program materials and assessments.
- Ability to undertake course coordination role and manage staff.
- Demonstrated capacity to work effectively with and to negotiate sensitively with students especially on issues related to effective learning.
- Extensive industry expertise within the commercial field of photography, with an up-to-date understanding of commercial photography trends, and a commitment to preparing students for careers in the ever-evolving visual media industry.
- Emerging track record and recognition for quality research outputs which will contribute to existing Discipline and School research areas evidenced by publications, development of new research initiatives, competitive research funding, and industry links.
- Ability to bring and build strong links to the commercial photography industry and generate projects and collaboration with industry for curriculum and research projects.
- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills, together with a strong commitment to teamwork and multidisciplinary collaboration.
