**About Us**

We’re a small private Mandarin language school that runs classes on Saturdays across our four locations in Melbourne - **Box Hill, Camberwell, Glen Waverley and Kensington**.
Our mission is simple: make learning Mandarin **engaging, joyful, and inspiring**.

At Kaixin, we believe kids learn best when they’re having fun. That’s why our classes are **play-based and activity-driven** - filled with songs, stories, games, and hands-on activities. We stay away from rote learning and focus instead on sparking curiosity and confidence in using Mandarin.

**About the Role**

We’re seeking passionate and reliable **Mandarin teachers** to join our weekend teaching team. This role is **casual**and **Saturdays only**, ideal for anyone who loves teaching and enjoys working in a lively, collaborative environment.

**What You’ll Do**
- Deliver engaging, activity-based Mandarin lessons for young learners (typically ages 4-12)
- Create fun, interactive experiences that immerse students in the Chinese language and culture
- Manage classroom dynamics with warmth, energy, and confidence
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and school management to maintain a positive, organised environment

**About You**

You’re the kind of teacher who brings joy and energy into the classroom - someone who can turn learning into an adventure. You’re creative, patient, and love seeing children light up when they understand something new.

**To succeed in this role, you’ll need**:

- Native proficiency in **Mandarin** and fluent **English** communication skills
- **Experience teaching** in group settings (preferably with children)
- Confidence in managing young learners and keeping them engaged
- A positive, team-oriented attitude
- Valid Working With Children Check (WWCC)
- Open to **university students and international students** currently based in Melbourne

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
