The Clinical Specialist is responsible for supporting a broad range of activities in his/her area, including clinical support of product usage in operating theatres in accordance with established best practices, support therapy development related activities such as running training and education programs, and monitoring therapy adoption. This position may be based in Melbourne but also able to travel interstate when required for short term and specified clinical events.
**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION**:
**Clinical Support/Case Coverage**:
This role will require approximately 50% of the time in the operating theatre assisting surgeons with case support.
Execution of T&E and Marketing programs that set the benchmark for clinical outcomes
Responsible for executing relevant on the ground marketing and professional education programs, including working with the course faculty, and communicating with the field and management on course status and results
Collaborate with Marketing, T&E and Commercial Leadership team
This role will require frequent collaboration with the Country Manager and AUS Therapy Development Specialists
**QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS**:
Education
- Educated to at least degree level in a scientific or medical area
Experience
- Minimum 5 years of medical device clinical support experience, with cardiac experience preferred
- Experience working in a Cardiac Operating Room, Electrophysiology (EP) Lab or Cath Lab either from industry or in hospital setting preferred.

- Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with people across all levels
