Melbourne- Asset Management- Contract or TemporaryThis position will be **hired initially on an interim 2 month contract duration**, to cover a departing team member in late Jan 2021.

Notably, the team will also start the recruiting process for this position on a perm basis in late Jan, so there is a direct possibility to be hired perm if you do a great job on the initial contract.

The primary function of the Investment Operations Analyst is to:

- Work with and assist the Investment Operations Manager to manage the assets of the Fund, focusing on the implementation and administration of the investment strategy, in accordance with the Board’s investment philosophies and principles.
- Make a contribution to operational and middle office functions associated with the Fund’s investment program
- Day to day management of the relationship with the custodian

**Investment Operations Responsibilities**:

- ** Unit Pricing**. Contribute to the unit pricing process, including assisting with verification, adjustments and the maintenance and operation of the Fund’s unit pricing function.
- ** Data Management**. Assist with the collation of a range of investment data including fulfillment of the Fund’s regulatory requirements (reporting to APRA and ASIC).
- ** Performance Reporting**. Assist with the checking, reconciliation and distribution of performance reports.
- ** Taxation and Accounting.** Contribute to the administration of accounting and taxation aspects of the investment program under the direction of the Investment Operations Manager.
- ** Fees and Investment Costs**. Assist with investment fee calculations and associated disclosure requirements including investment cost analysis, modelling, reconciliations and the calculation of cost ratios as required.
- ** Implementation**. Contribute to the implementation of investment decisions including preparation of instructions to the Fund’s custodian.
