In this role, you will be supporting with the identification of threats and vulnerabilities across Wesfarmers Industrial & Safety businesses (Blackwoods, Bullivants, Cm3, Coregas & Workwear Group), while implementing technical solutions for cyber-defence. Additionally, you will also be responsible for responding to and managing security threats through the SOC.
This is a **permanent, full-time opportunity**and will be based onsite in **Macquarie Park.**
**Some of the tasks of the role**:
- Support with vulnerability management across Wesfarmers Industrial & Safety (WIS)
- Be responsible for the identification of undetected threats enterprise wide
- Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to manage security operations centre and improve threat detection
- Act as the SME for mail security
- Lead investigations of security incidents adhering process and recommend corrective actions
- Act with a continuous improvement mindset to enhance response capabilities
**Some of the skills required**:
- 3+ years’ experience in an incident response/cybersecurity role
- Knowledge of information security frameworks
- Understanding of technology infrastructures (eg. Firewalls, VPN, IDS/IPS etc)
- Strong knowledge of mail security, DNS, and certificate management
- Exposure to vulnerability compliance, patch management, anti-malware and control management toolsets
- Experience with Microsoft Security and endpoint detection and response tools
- Working knowledge of SIEM platforms in logging and event management
- Skills and exposure to Threat Hunting Techniques and Tools
