**About the Role**:
Assist Rostering Officers to:

- Prepare and maintain rosters for support workers and respond to new service requests and routine enquiries.
- Provide an excellent customer experience through phone and face to face contact with support workers, clients, families, agencies and internal staff.

**You will be responsible for**:

- Assisting rostering officers to ensure support workers rosters accurately reflect service requests.
- Contacting clients regarding their rostered bookings, prior to actual service provision.
- Inputting accurate service notes and information into Council's client management system in a timely way.
- Communicating with support workers to provide routine day to day rostering changes and support.

**Key Selection Criteria**:
To be successful in this role, you will bring the following skills and competencies:

- Excellent communication skills
- Demonstrated organisational skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent attention to detail
- Understanding of the needs of older people, people with disabilities and their carers
- Ability to backfill rostering officers during planned and unplanned leave

**Mandatory pre-employment requirements**:

- Be willing to undergo and complete a satisfactory criminal history check.
- Provide or obtain an employment-based Working with Children check.
- Be fully vaccinated with at least two approved COVID-19 vaccines or have proof of medical exemption, in accordance with Aged Care requirements.
