Disability Support Worker

**We are looking for Support Workers to join our team now**
Our Support Workers deliver home care services to our clients, including accessing the community. **You will be required to travel for this role.**
We have the following shifts available:
- Morning
- Afternoon
- Evening
**Disability Care Worker** - **What's involved in the role?**
- Delivering care to children with complex medical disabilities **(Prior experience with young children is a MUST)**:
- Delivering care in participants homes, across Canberra, ACT.
- Work alongside our Registered Nurses to deliver medical support to our clients
- Carers provide personal care (assisting with personal grooming), domestic assistance, medication administration, specialised care according to each client's care plan, as well as social support

**Essentials - What do you need to apply?**
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience (In Australia)
- **Previous experience and training in PEG Feeding, Bowel Care, Ventilation Management, Epilepsy Management and other clinical skills are a must**:
- Certificate IV in Disability/Aged Care (Equivalent or Higher)
- Motor vehicle with comprehensive insurance
- **Previous Experience as AIN/EN/RN is highly preferred**:
- First Aid Certificate (Current)
- Manual Handling Competency (Completed within last 12 months)
- Fully vaccinated
- Valid provisional or driver's licence
- NDIS Worker Screening Check

**Salary**: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 - 30 per week
