A fantastic opportunity to join nbn, Australia’s largest infrastructure project, as the Risk Partner, reporting to the EM, Business & Risk Management. You will join the Operations Team to support critical business risk pillars.

A bit about your role

Are you looking for a role where you can be part of developing end-to-end risk management processes with a significant improvement that impacts to protect our customers? The goal of the Operations team is to as a conduit to implement nbn risk and resilience frameworks but also make sure the company adheres to compliance and privacy, review of internal audit action items associated with Operations.

The Risk Partner is the commercial face of regulatory and operational teams to explain and promote key company priorities and build and maintain essential relationships with shareholder departments.

Your seamless stakeholder management will facilitate the business operations & executive governance and provide excellent support to the Executive Manager, Business Management & Risk in implementing the risk and resilience framework. The Risk Partner will also assist the Senior Risk Partner and functional leads within each Business Unit.

A bit about you

You will have hands-on risk management experience in telecommunication or from a large-scale complex organisation. You will be confident in acting with a high degree of autonomy and intuition to engage in and assist in sanitising reports and presentations and enabling effecting risk governance across Operations.

Ideally, you have demonstrated experience in managing risk and evolving risk frameworks, liaising with risk coordinators, and supporting GMs and EGMs across Operations to review risk, resilience, compliance, and privacy profiles as applicable.

You will arrive at the role with experience in developing and maintaining risk registers. Your attention to detail will enable you to direct and facilitate resilience arrangements for critical business processes and coordinate risk activities within specified areas of the business, including facilitating risk assessments and coordinating the engagement with business leaders.

Our team needs someone with demonstrated achievement in initiating and establishing stakeholder relationships. Your excellent interpersonal and communication skills will aid to get direct a range of audiences across and outwards from the organisation.
