**Key Responsibilities**:
**Laboratory Support & Science Duties**:

- Prepare materials for sampling and mixing chemicals.
- Collect information and samples for testing and analysis.
- Conduct field tests and analyses, ensuring accurate results.
- Present results through graphic and written formats, preparing maps, charts, sketches, diagrams, and detailed reports.
- Perform routine mathematical calculations and computations of measurements.
- Control the quality and quantity of restoration supplies by testing samples and monitoring usage.
- Check, calibrate, and maintain test equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Participate in the fabrication, installation, and modification of equipment to meet critical standards.

**Cleaning and Restoration Duties**:

- Perform cleaning and restoration tasks at on-site and off-site facilities, vehicles, and properties in line with company policies and customer requirements.
- Handle restoration jobs involving mould, water, fire, odour, crime scenes, hoarding, squalor, and biohazardous materials.
- Ensure all restoration work is carried out professionally, maintaining high safety and quality standards.
- Contribute to the company’s commitment to professional service, excellent customer outcomes, and a safe working environment.
- Participate in internal risk assessments, toolbox meetings, and ongoing training and development.

**Key Requirements**:

- At least 1 year relevant experience requirement required.
- Diploma or equivalent in Laboratory Science or relevant area.
- **Physical fitness** to handle the demanding nature of both laboratory and cleaning/restoration tasks.
- A **strong attention to detail** with the ability to follow procedures and meet critical standards.
- Excellent **communication skills** (both written and verbal) for reporting results and collaborating with team members and customers.
- Hold a **valid Australian driver’s licence** (manual preferred).
- Must have or be able to obtain a **construction white card**.
- Ability to provide a **Police Clearance** and **Blue Card**.
- **Current Hepatitis A & B** and **Tetanus immunisation** (or willingness to get vaccinated).
- **Desirable Experience**:

- Previous experience in **cleaning and restoration** (mould, water, fire, odour, biohazard) is highly beneficial but not required.
- Experience in **laboratory support**, **scientific research**, or **field work**.
- **IICRC accreditation** (preferred, training available).
- Familiarity with **carpet & rug cleaning** or general **cleaning experience** is an advantage.

Pay: $46,460.00 - $77,595.09 per year
