**Position Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Accurately slice and portion meat cuts according to set weights, sizes, and customer specifications.
- Trim and prepare various meat products (beef, pork, lamb, poultry) with consistency and efficiency.
- Operate commercial slicing and cutting equipment safely and effectively.
- Ensure portioned products meet presentation and quality standards.
- Proven ability to portion cut for retail ready portion packs sold as each
- Minimize waste and maximize yield through precise trimming and cut planning
- Collaborate between breaking and packing teams to meet orders, deadlines and packaged specifications
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all equipment, tools, and work areas.
- Follow all food safety guidelines, WHS standards, and company procedures.
**Skills and Experience**:
- Proven experience in a butchery, meat processing, or foodservice environment with a focus on slicing and portion control.
- Strong knife skills and ability to cut accurately by weight and visual standard.
- Familiarity with commercial meat slicing and cutting tools and machinery.
- Understanding of meat quality, yields, and handling procedures.
- Excellent attention to detail and consistency in product presentation.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high safety and hygiene standards.
- Experience with portioning for retail, meal kits, hospitality, or institutional catering is an advantage.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Weekend availability
