Haverick Meats is one of Australia's leading foodservice meat distributors. We provide the highest quality meat products to restaurants, clubs and pubs, steakhouses, entertainment venues, airlines, hotels and healthcare providers. We are located in Botany.

The Role:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Knifehand to join our Food Service Production line team. Your attention to detail, adherence to quality standards, and commitment to food safety will contribute to the success of our operations.

Hours of work are: Monday - Friday 3am to 11.30am and Saturday 2am to 8am.

Your day to day will involve:

  • Filleting, trimming, de-boning, portioning and skinning fresh meat products
  • Operating meat slicer and cutting machines
  • Loading and unloading meat products
  • Following safe food handling and hygiene practices
  • Maintaining a clean and safe workspace

About you:

To success in this role you will have:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience as a Knifehand or Portion Cutter
  • Strong knife handling skills
  • Ability to work in a cold environment (5 degrees)
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment
  • PR or citizenship as we look for a long-term employee
