- **$30.63 - $31.52 per hour (dependent on experience) + superannuation for the part time role**:

- **$38.29 - $39.40 per hour (dependent on experience) + superannuation for the casual role**

**About the role**
We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and dedicated Kitchen Assistant to join our team at Warrawee community in delivering healthy, delicious meals to our residents. You will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and tidiness of the kitchen, as well as assisting with various kitchen duties, including meal preparation.
- Other responsibilities include:_
- Preparation and delivery of meals across all kitchens and in accordance with food safety plan and relevant Acts and Regulations
- Maintain safe food handling practices and compliance.
- Ensure kitchens and equipment are clean and in good order.
- Assist in maintaining stock control and rotation.

**About you**
You are kind and caring, with a genuine desire to help improve the lives of elderly residents. You enjoy working in a busy kitchen and take pride in your ability to work efficiently while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.

The following is also required:

- Previous experience as a kitchen hand or similar role preferably in the Aged care setting (desirable but not essential)
- Knowledge of food preparation and associated equipment
- First Aid training(desirable)
