Reports to: Pharmacy owner, Pharmacist and Retail manager

**About the Role**

The Pharmacy Assistant role supports the pharmacist and store by providing exceptional customer experience, advice and education on health products, provision of health screening services, timely and relevant advice and coordinating the dispensary workflow.

**Pharmacy Assistant Administration**
- Accurately and efficiently coordinate stock movement; marking off orders, stock takes, stock rotation, stock integrity and security
- Accurately manage and organise scripts on file, including coordinating SMS and app alerts

**Product & Health Service Knowledge**
- Actively assist customers to make their selection by advising on the features and benefits of products that meet their needs
- Actively assist pharmacist to provide service and product information to customers
- Assist to take in and hand out prescriptions accurately
- Continuously develop selling skills, product knowledge and customer care skills through in-store and online training

**Customer Service**
- Care for customers and drive sales by providing advice on a range of products to provide a full health solution
- Provide an environment where the customer is welcomed promptly and has an easy shopping experience
- Farewell customers in a way that confirms their importance to us and welcomes their return
- Resolve complaints with due concern for the customer or refer to the manager when necessary
- Maintain awareness of customers at all times, providing assistance, and product knowledge as required; and answer the telephone politely and promptly
- Promote Sister Club Health Plus Program scripts on file, and Sisterclub membership benefits

**Qualifications**
- Pharmacy Guild (or equivalent) Level 2 and Level 3 Certificate

**Skills and Experience**
- Previous experience in pharmacy (minimum 1 year)
- Passion for Pharmacy and Customer Service
- High standard of presentation and grooming
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Reliable and punctual
- Ability to work in a team
