**About Us**
Alexander’s Bakery Southside is a vibrant bakery café with two locations in the Illawarra. Known for our award-winning coffee and outstanding customer service, we’re proud to be a local favourite and community staple.

**The Role**
We are seeking **one strong, experienced barista** for our Wollongong location. In this role, you will be the lead on coffee service, often working solo on the machine. You must be able to manage volume with speed and precision, while delivering consistently excellent coffee every time.

This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced cafe, enjoys engaging with customers, and is motivated to help grow our coffee sales.

**What We’re Looking For**
- **Minimum 2 years’ barista experience** in a high-volume cafe.
- Confident working independently on the machine, managing flow and quality.
- Strong technical skills: dial-in, workflow management.
- Customer-focused, warm, and able to create a welcoming experience.
- Motivated, proactive, and eager to contribute to growing coffee sales.
- Reliable, clean, and detail-oriented with a strong work ethic.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Preparing and serving specialty coffee with speed and consistency.
- Leading coffee service and maintaining high standards of quality.
- Providing outstanding customer service and product recommendations.
- Supporting café operations including opening/closing duties and cleaning.

**What We Offer**
- Pay**:$30.00 - $35.00 per hour**, plus penalty rates and super.
- Regular and consistent shifts: 4+ full days per week (Saturday availability required).
