**The Role and Responsibilities**

We are looking for a Production Technician to join our existing team during this fast-paced growth phase of our business. Our current and new product development and specific production process will require you to produce finished SafeGauge products by assembling parts and subassemblies, including some electronic assembly. This role is also responsible for the testing & calibration of our products while upholding high quality control standards in a production line environment.

With a strong pipeline of future sales, this position is responsible for:

- Preparing work to be accomplished by staging parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
- Using hand tools or machines to assemble products and components.
- Conducting quality control assessments for production batches.
- Error reporting and basic diagnostics of faulty parts and products in production.
- Carrying out calibration & testing of finished products; and
- Cleaning and maintaining the work area and equipment.

**To be successful the following skills and experience is required**:

- Demonstrate an understanding of assembly instructions and schematics
- Ability to use, or learn how to use, diagnostic equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and power supplies
- Ability to closely follow assembly and test procedures
- Good decision-making skills, with the ability to work within a team to reach a common goal
- Great oral and written communication skills
- Good time management skills and the ability to work with mínimal supervision
