Broadmeadows, Australia Grow and Green Gardens Pty Ltd Full time

I am looking for a casual employee to join my gardening business. Hourly rate negotiable based on experience (plus superannuation) starting at $25.50 towards $27.50 after training period of no more than 3 months. We are based out of a Commercial site in Broadmeadows with staff facilities including coffee machine, cold drinks and snacks.

We will provide:

- Mentoring and on the job training of garden maintenance, plant knowledge, landscape construction and basic business administration
- Use of work ute to go to jobs
- Shirts with logo, Cap and Hoodie as seasonal
- A team based environment, in most instances you will work in a team of two each day

We are a friendly team of gardeners (team of 5 currently) who do:

- Lawn mowing and edging
- Pruning and hedging
- Garden clean ups
- Weed management
- Property cleaning and maintenance
- Landscaping

Approximately 30 hours per week, with additional hours available in peak seasons of Spring and Summer. Start time 7.00am Monday to Friday with varied finish times and some Saturday work.

Situated in Melbourne's North ( Broadmeadows) we work in the surrounding suburbs.

I am looking for:

- Someone who has a current manual drivers license (the work vehicles are manual transmission)
- Willing to learn about plants and gardening
- Able to complete basic machine maintenance and care is a bonus
- A can do attitude
- Attention to detail and pride in your work
- Prior experience in gardening is beneficial, but not mandatory. If you have the right attitude we are happy to train you.
- Availability during daytime hours from Monday to Friday starting at 7.00am. Some Saturday work can be available, but this is optional if it suits you
