**Introduction**:
Regis Resources is an ASX 200-listed Perth based gold production and exploration company with a proven management team and a successful track record of developing mid-sized gold operations. Regis is a purely Australian gold miner with significant open pit and underground operations, which includes the 100% owned Duketon Gold Project and a 30% ownership of the Tropicana Gold Project, both in Western Australia. The current mine site locations are in the Northeastern Goldfields of WA, with multiple mining operations both open pit and underground. **Description**:
The Opportunity
We have a unique opportunity for a Utility (Kitchen Hand) to join our busy, high performing team at the Duketon operation village. The Utility plays a key role in ensuring the kitchen and dining room operates smoothly through supporting food preparation and ensuring a clean kitchen and dry mess area.
This is a site based role, working on a 2:1 FIFO roster - 7 days, 7 nights, 7 off (ex-Perth).
**Note**: Regis utilises an Owner/Operator model of our village services, meaning you would be employed directly for Regis - not a village services provider.
About the Role
Take ownership of personal safety and that of colleagues through a proactive approach towards behavioural safety, hazard identification and risk management
Maintain the catering, kitchen and dining room areas to statutory hygiene standards
Cleaning of dining room and kitchen areas
Assist Chefs with food preparation
Maintaining food safety standards
Emptying rubbish bins
Safe handling of chemicals
Assist with deliveries and stock rotation.
**Skills and Experiences**:
About You
Safe Food Handling Certificate (essential)
Hospitality experience (desirable)
Demonstrated experience working in a remote village environment
Physically manage repetitive and physical tasks, including heavy lifting and bending
Ability to work a 12-hour shifts, including night shifts
Demonstrated experience of working autonomously, as well as in a small team
A solid work ethic and strong desire to do things safely and efficiently
Current WA class C manual driver’s licence.
