Are you a skilled Refrigeration Technician with a passion for safety, reliability, and operational excellence? Newmont Boddington Gold is seeking a motivated Maintenance Technician - Refrigeration to join our dynamic team and help maintain our world-class mining infrastructure.
About The RoleYou will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of refrigeration systems and site infrastructure to ensure safety, environmental compliance, and operational efficiency. You will play a key role in scheduled maintenance, emergency repairs, and supporting a culture of continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance and repairs on refrigeration systems, chillers, cool rooms, freezers, ice machines and APAC units. Conduct inspections, services, maintenance and repairs of critical equipment. Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and statutory standards. Respond to emergency callouts on a rotating roster. Coordinate with contractors and internal teams to maintain infrastructure. Maintain accurate records and ensure all work meets regulatory and company standards. Support change management initiatives and contribute to a culture of safety and trust.
What We Are Looking For
- ARCTICK license with full RAC endorsement and Electrical License (essential). Extensive experience in refrigeration maintenance. Strong knowledge of statutory regulations and safety standards. Excellent communication, time management, and problem-solving skills. High Risk License (EWP, Forklift, Dogging). Experience in mining or heavy industrial environments preferred. Computer skills including Microsoft Office and SAP. Current C class manual driver’s licence.
