Working an 5/2:4/3, you can live locally or stay in our village and DIDO. The RoleYou will ensure maintenance activities are completed safely and efficiently through quality and effective work. You will be performing maintenance, installs, repairs, and servicing of conveyor belt scrapers. Performing routine quality checks and inspections to, of conveyor belts to identify faults, wear, and damage ensuring machinery meets required standards. The team is also called upon to provide technical advice and input into improvement initiatives to enhance product performance.

About You
- Prior experience as a Conveyor Belt Technician or Mechanical Maintenance Fitter, ideally in a mining environment.
- Strong knowledge of conveyor belt systems and associated components such as belt cleaners, skirting systems, and belt tracking.
- Proven experience performing routine inspections and submitting reports.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a practical, solutions-oriented approach.
- Self-motivated and able to work well in a team environment.
- A solid commitment to safety and quality, with proven results
- Experience working at heights
- High Risk licences - e.g Rigging, Working at Heights
You will demonstrate your commitment to safety and use your experience and judgement to ensure yourself and your workmates stay safe. Your ability to set good examples of work ethic and integrity together with your positive mind set in dealing with work and people will be highly regarded.
Boddington is in the SW region of WA and experiences diverse seasonal weather with hot summers and wet and cold winters. An ability to work outdoors in all-weather conditions is required.
