Skyline Creative, a holistic boutique provider of video marketing and social content, is seeking passionate video editors to join our Sydney studio and help push the boundaries of the industry.

This position requires a video editor with experience in a variety of editing techniques in providing leading agencies with interior, real estate, property and profile videos of the highest quality, as well as a range of lifestyle and social content. Experience within the Real Estate industry is by no means necessary, however strong editing skills, a keen eye for detail, creative thinking, and the ability to meet strict deadlines is a must.

Applicants must have advanced knowledge of Adobe Premiere and After Effects including colour grading, creating and modifying motion graphics and working independently to a guideline.

The role is freelance, work available 24/7 if you are set up in any location with high-speed internet, or you can work from our studio Monday-Friday based in Chippendale. The amount of work offered will be based on your own availability, reliability, and quality of work.

Our editors will be needing to create property videos according to a briefed style, from raws all the way to finals. It's high on technical fundamentals, shot selection and placement, compositions, colour grading, stabilisation, speed, and creativity is needed in storytelling through a space and matching visuals with music and audio in a dynamic way.

It helps if you can show examples where you've followed a brief (describe it) and examples where you've created feeling or emotion of any kind intentionally through music.

Things we never look for;
- list of credits of all the projects you've worked on
- where you studied
- long repetitive showreels
- broadcast experience
- videos older than 5 years

Things we do look for;
- can cut to music by feeling the track and dynamics
- evidence of good editing skills
- self-awareness and knowing what value you would bring to our agency

Our current freelance editors love the gig as a stable income working with a great understanding crew, keeping their flexibility and control over their own time, while creating gorgeous work from beautiful built form and architecture.
