**The Opportunity**

We are seeking General Services Officer to support with various general cleaning duties around St George Private Hospital. This opportunity will have you being a part of a brilliant team of people responsible for providing the highest standards of cleanliness to all areas of the hospital.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness to all areas, including wards and operating theatres
- Ensuring all equipment utilised on shifts is cleaned, restocked and stored in the appropriate storage areas
- Working in a friendly and supportive manner at all times
- Maintaining communication networks with nursing staff and other stakeholders ensuring quality clinical outcomes are achieved

**Skills and Experience**

To be successful in this role you will:

- Have experience in cleaning services or housekeeping services
- Previous experience in a hospital desirable
- Experience with auto scrubbers and polish machines
- Enjoy providing a great customer service experience
- Be a team player and love to work within a large team
- Demonstrate attention to detail and take pride in your work
- Be dedicated to the highest standards of safety, cleanliness and infection control
- Flexibility to work across a 7-day rotating roster.
