**The Company**

Established in 2000, Montessori Academy is Australia's leading and largest provider of Montessori early childhood education for children under the age of six. We are a child safe organisation with the vision to provide our students with an early learning experience that prepares them, not only for school, but for life. With campuses across NSW/ACT, VIC and China, Montessori Academy and more than 40 campuses across Sydney, and many more in development, Montessori Academy provides excellent career development options, fantastic training and development programs, and a real opportunity to learn and grow. For us, excellence in education is a journey, and we're with you every step of the way.

**Why work in a Montessori environment?**

Unlike play-based childcare centres and preschools, Montessori Academy nurtures the uniqueness of each child and provides an early learning experience that prepares them, not only for school, but for life.

In a Montessori classroom, educators serve as a link between the Prepared Environment and the children. Their role is to observe the children and guide them in their own unique learning process, to help them develop a life-long love of learning. Activities and learning experiences are implemented to suit each child’s current interests, needs and stage of development, to allow them to learn at their own pace. The educator-child relationship is based on trust and respect, which creates a positive learning environment where children feel safe, valued, and supported in their learning journey.

- To liaise with families in regards to the day to day happenings.
- To maintain observations and records of individual children's progress, particularly those identified through staff observation.
