**Position description**:
We’re seeking an enthusiastic staff member to join our fast-paced North Shore Hub Laboratory. You will be an essential team member.

The position being offered is full-time but a part-time position would also be considered. Participation in occasional weekend work would also be required.

The position requires a person willing to multi-skill in numerous areas, including unpacking, coding and preparation of pathology specimens for testing, report sorting, data entry and results enquiries. Proficient computer skills are essential. A background in pathology laboratory services and medical terminology is preferred.

- The ability to interact well with people, demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to integrate within a goal-focused, professional and supportive environment
- Previous laboratory experience and knowledge of Work Health and Safety (WH&S) would be an advantage. However, full training will be provided to the suitable applicant
