Nursery Hand

We are hiring, come and join our team Producing top quality trees is what we are about. Learn the skills with us or come equipped with horticulture skills you already have, and we will teach you the production process from seed to distribution of many tree varieties.

We need you to have an interest in horticulture, enjoy working outdoors, a great work ethic and bring a keen learning approach. Whether you have industry experience or not, we want to help you learn our nursery processes and for you to grow with us

**Your day-to-day tasks may include**:

- Planting, potting and propagation
- Plant maintenance including, watering, weeding, pruning, staking
- Loading and unloading supplies and equipment
- General nursery and labouring duties

**Qualifications & experience**
- Experience in horticulture / production nursery preferred
- Current driver’s licence required, heavy rigid licence an advantage
- Chemical Accreditation (Chem Cert) also an advantage

**Skills & attributes**
- Good communication skills
- Reliable and motivated
- Able to follow instructions and work within the nurseries established processes and procedures
- Enjoys working in a team

JFT Nurseries is one of the largest wholesale production nurseries in Australia. A family run business with over 35 years' experience in the industry, situated in the Silvan/Monbulk area. We are an open ground nursery growing quality Fruiting, Flowering and Ornamental trees and shrubs.
