**Bek's Bookworx is a professional contract bookkeeping and BAS Agent practice managing the financial records for clients in the Scenic Rim, Redlands, Brisbane City, and Gold Coast. We serve businesses in industries such as Building and Construction, Landscaping, Health Services, manufacturing, and specialise in Not-for-Profit/charities.**

**About the role**

Applicants should be able to follow established office procedures, perform accounting tasks such as data entry, reconcile transactions, produce bank reconciliation reports, manage debtor/creditor ledgers and payroll liabilities.

The role requires applicants work to deadlines, meet time targets and manage client work flow, making sure that client accounting needs are met in a timely manner.

The role is suited to those looking to gain experience in the professional bookkeeping industry.

**Skills and experience**
- Applicants should have or be completing a minimum level Certificate IV in Financial Services
- Have a minimum of 12 months experience in MYOB and Xero
- Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite, particularly MS Excel
- Applicants should be able to work independently and be comfortable working in a quiet office environment
- Accuracy, speed and attention to detail are key skills required for the role
- BAS Agent licence is not required. However, should the applicant wish to obtain their licence, hours worked can be logged for TPB accreditation.

**Hours and Location**

The position is 15 hrs per week, with the possibility of increase. The successful applicant can select work days.

Our office is located in Cedar Grove, 20 minutes south of Browns Plains. This position is an onsite role only, no remote work.

This is an employee position, no contractors required.

Part-time hours: 15 per week

**Salary**: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour
