Your role within our dedicated postvention suicide support service, **StandBy** **Support After Suicide** will allow you to:

- Support communities, individuals and workplaces bereaved by suicide
- Work in Australia’s leading postvention suicide program
- Champion the voice of those with lived experience
- Collaborate with stakeholders (internal and external) to build community preparedness and awareness around suicide postvention supports

**This position is a Full-Time Fixed-Term role till 30 June 2026.**

- Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or demonstrated knowledge, practical experience and skill in critical incident response / psychological first aid
- The ability to communicate sensitively in an authentic, compassionate and respectful manner that takes into consideration the cultural background of the person being supported
- Demonstrated well-developed organisational, time management and administrative skills with the ability to plan, prioritise and meet deadlines
- Demonstrated experience in maintaining professional boundaries while engaging in person-centred work
- Demonstrated awareness of reflective practice and self-care
- Reside within the Hunter region
- Flexibility to travel within work hours (pool vehicle provided)
