Accounts Payable Team Leader role available on a contract basis with leading organisation

**Your new company**
A large government department are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Team Leader to join their growing team on a contract basis for 4-months approximately. This position will be based in Brisbane CBD which is located close to various public transport links and there is an option to work from home 1 to 2 days per week.

**Your new role**
Reporting to the Accounts Payable Manager, you will be responsible for the following:

- Supervising a team of accounts payable officers
- Managing the workflow for the team
- Assisting with corporate credit cards
- Providing advice on accounts payable
- Assisting in the on-going process improvements
- Liaising with key internal stakeholders and external suppliers

**What you'll need to succeed**
In order to be successful, you will meet the following requirements:

- Experience in a similar role
- Extensive accounts payable experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong leadership skills
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Experience with large ERP systems
