About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a creative Visual Merchandising Manager to join the Sheridan team, on a 12 month contract.
Based in Pyrmont working for a sustainable and premium homeware brand, there has never been a more exciting time to join as we embark on a journey to reimagine our brand.
As the VM Manager you will drive a consistent and engaging experience in visual merchandising across our 100 + stores across Australia and New Zealand while maximizing sales, comp store growth, and KPI optimization, and ensuring this is achieved within budget and team costs.
You are responsible for maintaining the visual merchandising standards and principles and ensuring these are delivered to a high and are consistent standard across all channels. A key focus will be to create inspiring and best-in-class in-store experiences through visual merchandising, window displays, and product displays that ultimately drive increased footfall and sales.
You will coach and develop your team to drive and deliver these standards across the network and will work collaboratively with key stakeholders in areas such as store development, marketing, store operations, planning, and buying, to deliver a strong brand image. You will also support new store rollouts, refurbs, and store closures.

Skills & Experience
- Proven and demonstrated experience and strength in Visual Merchandising ideally in a multi-category retail environment.
- Experience managing and coaching a visual merchandising team.
- Proven experience in developing and creating VM standards, category planograms, and VM training tools.
- Experience working with a retailer with key capacity planning skills.
- Confident in managing budgets and timelines.
- Strong project management experience and problem solving skills.
