In this role you will provide support in our **Learning & Lifestyle Centre;** organising activities designed to help the people we support to develop practical life skills and to identify their goals for daily living, community participation, learning and building relationships - and of course having fun Some of our activities include cooking, arts and crafts, connecting with nature and sports. Other key duties will include: - Assisting with aspects of personal care where required to meet the individual needs of the people we support - Supporting with meal planning, cooking and shopping with easy access to public transport, shops and community facilities - Providing support during daily activities such as going for a walk, going to the movies or accompanying to an appointment - Helping the people we support to maintain a connection to their family, friends, and services **_ Ever wondered what it's really like being a Disability Support Worker?
