We are on the hunt for an enterprising Early Childhood Teacher Room Leader to join the fun, friendly, supportive team at our Schofields Alex Avenue Centre.

You’re energetic, confident, motivated, creative, caring and committed to positively impacting early childhood development. You’re ready for a leadership role, keen to mentor others, and want to be part of a diverse, inclusive team where your expertise and experience will be recognised and rewarded. To be eligible, you’ll need a Bachelor’s Degree, or a Diploma with at least 50% of your degree-study completed, as well as a current NSW Working With Children Check.

**What will you do?**
- Play a vital role on the Centre leadership team, supervising & mentoring other educators
- Leverage the latest research to design rigorous, differentiated, inclusive educational programs in line with The Early Years Learning Framework
- Showcase innovation and creativity to make YA the top choice for local families
- Follow Centre policies & procedures and the ECA Code of Ethics, maintain exemplary records and conduct comprehensive program evaluations
- Promote positive behaviour & maintain a safe, healthy environment for the wellbeing of staff, children & stakeholders
