Craigieburn, Australia Allcare Community Support Full time

Allcare Community Support Victoria focuses on participants in the 7 to 25 and 25 plus age ranges, who have been diagnosed with a disability, who are NDIS eligible, and who are in need of support.

An experienced support worker is required for a female client in the Craigieburn area.

Support will be required with a broad range of activities including assistance to regularly complete activities in her home, forming strategies to identify and complete tasks regularly, assistance with self-management tasks and community access. Other duties will also be required.

A normal sized car as well as a clear Victorian Driver’s license and comprehensive car insurance are required.

Desirable criteria includes.
- A relevant qualification, and necessary clearances required for this role include but are not limited to; an NDIS Worker screening clearance, Working with Children clearance and National Police Certificate
- Evidence of 1 - 3 years previous experience working within social work, youth/community work
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate and engage with a variety of stakeholders
- Able to work without constant supervision
- Sound assessment and reporting skills
- A reliable, clean vehicle and clear Victorian drivers’ licence

Time Commitment - three days during the week, two hours per day with early morning starts. Support may be required on additional days.

Pay: $41.00 - $58.00 per hour
