**Disability Support Worker - Casual**
**Location**: North Side of Melbourne

**Pay Rate**: Competitive, based on experience

We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable **Disability Support Worker** to join our team, supporting participants with complex needs.

This role involves working closely with individuals with high support needs, including participants who are non-verbal, on the Autism spectrum, and/or require high-intensity support. Experience working within Behaviour Support Plans (BSPs) and the ability to provide accurate feedback and data to BSP practitioners is essential.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Deliver high-quality, person-centred support
- Work with participants who may present with complex behaviours and high-intensity needs
- Support non-verbal communication and sensory needs
- Follow and implement Behaviour Support Plans
- Record and report on participant progress and behavioural data accurately
- Assist with daily living tasks, community access, and skill-building

**Essential Criteria**:

- Qualification in Disability Support, Mental Health, Community Services, or related field
- Proven experience in the disability sector
- Experience working with high-intensity participants and Autism
- Understanding and experience with Behaviour Support Plans
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Working with Children Check (WWC)
- National Police Check

**Preferred Criteria**:

- Valid driver’s licence
- Access to a reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance
