The Monash Health Pathology Service operates under the brand name of Monash Pathology and is an integral part of Monash Health. It is one of the largest providers of Pathology services in the state and currently operates 6 laboratories. The largest of these is located at the Monash Medical Centre, Clayton, with additional facilities being located at the Dandenong, Moorabbin, Casey, Wonthaggi and the Victorian Heart Hospital.

Services are provided to the Public and Private sectors, and other laboratory services.

**About the Role**
- We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Laboratory Technician with relevant core laboratory training in Haematology, Chemical Pathology and Transfusion. The successful applicant will join the existing pool of Medical Scientists and Laboratory Technicians within the VHH and will report to the Pathology Site Manager
- Rostering flexibility is required. The successful applicant will be required to work weekdays and weekends 07:30-15:30 at this stage
- This is an ongoing Part Time position.
- Instrumentation includes Beckman Coulter DxC700 AU, DxH690, Access 2, Radiometer ABL90, Werfen ACLTOP 350, Ortho Swift, and i-Stat analysers. Previous experience in these analysers is highly desirable
- Skills in troubleshooting of analysers is desirable

**What you need to know**

The successful applicant will have a Diploma of Laboratory Technology or recognised equivalent with experience in a multi-disciplinary laboratory being desirable.
