**Role Description/Criteria**

St Dominic’s School is seeking to employ enthusiastic and hardworking teachers who have a passion for learning and teaching in a richly diverse, trauma informed and compassionate Catholic community. Applications are invited from teachers who are willing to teach any class from Prep-Year 6.

It is expected that the successful applicant will:

- Be committed to the values and ethos of our Catholic faith and promote the Catholic Identity of the school
- Be highly motivated, committed, positive and collaborative in their work
- Be passionate and innovative about learning and teaching
- Have a sound knowledge of current best practice and the Victorian Curriculum
- Have the capacity to make adjustments for a diverse range of learning needs
- Be able to build and maintain positive relationships with colleagues, parents and students
- Be committed to ongoing learning and professional development
- Be committed to using feedback and data to drive student improvement.

St. Dominic’s is a Child Safe School and is committed to the ongoing safety, wellbeing and protection of all children in our care.

**Special Requirements**

Applicants should:

- have accreditation to teach Religious Education in a Catholic School
- hold current VIT registration
- provide contact details of three referees.
