**Position Information**:
Marayong Heights Public School is part of the Quakers Hill network and has an enrolment of 271 students from Kindergarten to Year 6 across 12 classes. There are 34% of students from a language background other than English and 10% of students identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander. The school staff is a mix of experienced and early career teachers who work collaboratively to ensure that teaching and learning programs accommodate the individual needs and talents of all students. The staff focus on delivering innovative and engaging literacy and numeracy programs. The school provides a safe and supportive environment that promotes positive relationships and encourages students to achieve their full potential. The school embeds the Positive Behaviour for Learning (PBL) framework across all school systems to enhance academic and social behaviour outcomes for students. **Selection Criteria**:
In addition to the general selection criteria, approval to teach infants and/or primary.

1. An?approachable, visible, and collaborative leader with the ability to teach, lead, mentor and build the capacity of a stage team to implement data driven, evidence informed practices that improve student outcomes in literacy and numeracy.

2. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as a dynamic member of the executive team to facilitate, implement and evaluate school initiatives within the strategic improvement plan.

3. Outline any specific expertise or experience you would bring to this position, which specifically aligns with the vision, values and goals of Marayong Heights Public School.

1. Successful teaching experience with capacity to initiate improvement in teaching, learning and classroom practice
