**About the role**:
Based in our Air Affairs operations in Nowra, this newly created role will report to a Senior People Partner and will support the operations in providing HR advice and guidance, along with assisting with the ongoing maintenance and implementation of HR policies and procedures, along supporting a variety of projects. Duties will include, but not limited to:
Providing efficient first line support to employees regarding HR policies, procedures and activities
Evaluating, preparing and updating position descriptions
Supporting the continuous development and implementation of HR processes
Compiling and providing data and employment information to the employee services team
Managing the ongoing compliance requirements, including development of plans and reports
Working with the broader People team to ensure seamless delivery of HR cyclical activates are rolled out, understood and embedded into functional team
Full-time, 12 months fixed-term opportunity.
**About you**:
Proven experience working in an agile HR team
Sound working knowledge of and the proven ability to interpret and advise on the Fair Work Act, NES and Modern Awards
Strong relationship management and communication skills, including the ability to influence key stakeholders
Willingness to work in operationally and on projects
Attention to detail with the ability to implement and manage processes
