The Opportunity
In line with our growth and commitment to the safety of our employees, we are seeking a High Voltage Operating Authority (HVOA) Manager to oversee and manage the competency of high-voltage electrical operations across multiple projects.
As CPP’s HVOA Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing our HV electricians, approving switching sheets, and authorizing the re-energization of equipment. You will work closely with project teams to ensure that all high-voltage activities are carried out safely and efficiently, following strict compliance with safety policies and procedures.
**Skills and Experiences**:
About You
**To be successful in this role, you will possess**:
Recipient in Charge permit holder
Minimum 5 years of relevant industry experience
Strong decision making skills with the ability to make critical judgments regarding high-voltage operations and able to clearly justify your actions.
Familiarity with Electrical Safety Acts/Rules and Regulations applicable to Australian States.Strong knowledge of HV substation operations and maintenance. Experience in preparing HV switching programs, permits, and protocols.
