The Role
The objective of the Parking Technician is to provide efficient and effective technical support services including problem diagnosis and resolution for networked computing facilities to DCA customers.
The Service Technician is required to work with DCA staff and suppliers to provide a stable platform for the DCA solutions, to ensure that the Service Level Agreement commitments are met.
DCA provides support services for end-to-end Smart parking solutions

**Your responsibilities will include, not but limited to**:

- Provide DCA solutions Field Support incl. First-line and Second-Line investigation, diagnosis and resolution on DCA equipment
- Provide Preventative Maintenance, installation and training support services on DCA equipment.
- Provide resolution where possible or transfer of service requests to third-line support groups, including specialist support groups and external suppliers.
- Co-ordination of DCA spare part stock carried, regular stock takes.
- Update Service Request Management System with timely and accurate information on problem resolution.
- Escalate Incidents and Service Requests that they cannot resolve within agreed timescales.
- Represent DCA to customers and the public in a respectful and polite manner.
- Take responsibility for GPS vehicle, maintenance, upkeep and appearance.
- Comply with all standards, procedures, controls, and policies (DCA Health and Safety, First Aid, Company Vehicle, Internet, Dress code, Service Support Policies etc)
- Undertake such other duties as may be reasonably required by management to attain DCA objectives.

**You will need to demonstrate**:

- Experience in a technical and electromechanical service role is essential.
- General Microsoft Windows Skills
- Dial up Networking and general LAN skills.
- PC hardware and peripherals such as printers, EFT-POS, scanners, etc.
- Limited Electrical Registration (ideally).
- Good Electro Mechanical Aptitude.
- Communication, oral and written
- Proven time management skills
- Problem solving and analytical skills
- Demonstrated evidence of commitment, good judgment, self-motivation, flexibility and resourcefulness.
- Flexible, positive attitude, friendly, outgoing personality, attention to detail, be dependable, diplomacy, discreet and trustworthy.
- Ability to work off shifts, holidays and weekends is a must.
