A local family owned and run business in Singleton with outlets in Maitland and Tamworth, has the opportunity for a motivated 3rd or 4th year Apprentice join their team on a full time basis.

**About the Position**

As a Apprentice Mechanic Technician, you will be required to work with JAX Tyres workshop staff as required to provide product and service to the customer. You will be able to carry out mechanical duties, tyre fitting, wheel balancing as well as achieving sales and gross profit targets, ensuring customer satisfaction and adherence to Policies and Procedures as defined by JAX Tyres and comply with WH&S rules, regulations & procedure.

You will be able to maximise sales of Approved Products utilising the JAX Business System and associated tools.

**To be successful in this role you will need to have the following essential skills and knowledge**:

- 3rd or 4th Year of mechanical apprenticeship
- Preferably automotive industry experience
- Motivate team members to take interest and pride in their workmanship
- Value quality workmanship and customer service
- Sound communication skills
- Maintain customer satisfaction levels
- Maintain a high standard of service
- Successful repair of all Customer vehicles
- Excellent team player
- Punctual & Reliable

**Salary**: $21.00 - $30.00 per hour
