Disability Support Worker - Experienced - this position is in Gatton and surrounding suburbs.

Gumnut House is where people of all ages with disabilities can feel safe, supported, and valued. We are an established Disability Provider in the town of Gatton supporting participants to live independently.

We provide 24-hour support across 7 days at our Supported Independent Living premises as well as supporting Individuals in their own home. We are seeking an experienced Disability Support Worker who is available across a 7-day roster to provide a variety of services to our participants supporting them to feel safe, respected, and valued.

**You must have a current**
- Certificate 3 in Individualised Support or equivalent
- hold a current Blue Card.
- hold a current Yellow Card or the new Workers Screening Card
- be available for an immediate start upon successful completion of the interview.
- A current First Aid & CPR Certificate

The successful applicant will be paid accordingly under the SCHADS Award to their level of qualifications.

The support worker we are looking for will thrive on assisting each participant to achieve their NDIS goals in a safe and dignified environment. You will be a support worker who has an open mind willing to support the participants in their beliefs even if they don't match your own. Everyone including people with disabilities have the right to make informed decisions about their own personal activities including lifestyle without judgement.
