**Your new company**

A global business that provide their high demand product to businesses across the FMCG, food, beverage, retail and commercial industries both globally and locally. With multiple sites across Sydney our client is a leader in the market. With exciting new opportunities our client is looking for an experienced and qualified Fitters to drive Lean principles and production efficiencies on multiple shifts (fixed) and across two flagship sites (fixed sites)

**Your new role**
- You will be responsible for the organisation and maintenance of the day-to-day running of the site, production lines, associated plant/equipment and fixed property.
- You'll ensure conformance to statutory, and company approved Safe Operating Procedures as well as keeping the equipment performing at its required production rate.
- Maintaining a Preventative Maintenance Program in relation to the production line to ensure there are mínimal unplanned stoppages and breakdowns.
- Provide guidance of all maintenance procedures relating to the production lines. A key focus will include maintaining accurate records pertaining to corrective and periodical/planned maintenance procedures.
- Carry out all maintenance activities in a professional and proactive manor to ensure the plant and equipment are maintained to the highest possible standards.
- Proactive in the continual improvement of the plant processing equipment.

**What you'll need to succeed**

You will be trade qualified Fitter who has an electrical disconnect reconnect licence. You will have a thorough understanding of mechanical fault-finding and repair, along with basic electrical fault-finding skills. It would be very advantageous if you have a strong understanding of electrical mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems and associated production line equipment and plant.
