As an Automatic Door/Gate Technician at Talbot Auto Doors, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of automated doors, gates and shutters across the greater Brisbane region. This full-time role is a hands-on position that requires a strong technical skillset and a keen eye for detail. You will work closely with our customers to ensure their Auto Door, Gate and Roller Shutter assets are operating safely and efficiently. What you'll be doing - Install, service, and repair a variety of automatic door, gate and shutter systems - Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with electrical, mechanical, and software components - Perform scheduled maintenance and inspections to prevent malfunctions - Liaise with customers to understand their needs and provide expert advice - Maintain detailed records of all work performed - Ensure all work is completed to the highest safety and quality standards What we're looking for - Minimum 1-2 years' experience as an Automatic Door/Gate Technician **or in a similar trade type role**: - Practical hands on aptitude with a solutions orientated aptitude - A sound working knowledge of automated door and gate systems, including electrical, mechanical, and software components - Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills - Strong customer service orientation and communication skills - A valid driver's licence What we offer At Talbot Auto Doors, we are committed to providing our employees with a supportive and rewarding work environment.
